MY TRIBE was born from the desire to participate in the transformation of this new era of sustainability and conscious consumption. We have chosen jewellery as our ally in this adventure because it is chic, glamorous and precious, because it can live several lives and be integrated into a circular economy that is essential to our planet.
MY TRIBE is also a committed, creative, chic tribe, drawn from atypical backgrounds, a little bit rock’n roll and resolutely joyful. And when we speak of a tribe, it is not by chance. What could be more precious than to be associated with talented people, who bring their know-how, their experience and their passion.
The founders
After a career in the private and nonprofit sectors, always looking for new innovations and the next project to lead, Anne-Marie Kortmoeller had the desire to start an enterprise that would combine business with sustainability, creativity and entrepreneurship. She drew up the outline of MY TRIBE.
Building on her degree in visual arts, Melissa Tamisier made graphic design her profession, crossing paths with Anne-Marie via various philanthropic and sustainable projects. Passionate about fashion, music and rhinestones, Melissa joined Anne-Marie in the creation of MY TRIBE – a perfect balance between sustainability and glamour.
Second hand jewellery, in its essence circular and chic, revealed itself as the obvious choice.

A jack-of-all-trades, multilingual and multi-talented, Barbara has been a project manager in the sustainability sector, then a chef. Today she is the director of a digital studio and sometime translator. Her roots are Swiss but she resides in New Zealand, close to untouched nature where she thrives on adventure. Her other passion is contemporary art.
Without forgetting our occasional models, friends and children of the tribe; Zoé, Laina, Julie, Colin, Mathilde, and all those to come.
A thousand thanks to you !
MY TRIBE loves
We regularly share what we love through podcasts, secret stories about jewellery, a look at the sustainability issues in the sector, our favourite places and not forgetting the MY TRIBE Loves Music playlists.
Commitment
MY TRIBE participates in the circular economy by offering a digital platform that promotes the sale and purchase of second hand jewellery. Each piece of jewellery can live many lives, boost the second hand sector and thus have a positive impact.
Our ambition is to integrate sustainability in all our decisions, big and small: from the company’s statutes to its governance, from purchases to travel, from traceability to monitoring our impact.
We have also chosen to donate 2% of our turnover to charities.
Donation
Our choice for the first 24 months is a Geneva-based foundation, the Centre Otium. Conceived and directed by Linda Kamal, a change-maker who, after being struck by cancer, reshaped her life and left the banking sector to create a unique place dedicated to people affected by the disease, and their loved ones. Open to all and free of charge, it offers meditation, yoga, acupuncture, beauty care, psychological support and much more. Located in Geneva, the Centre Otium is a magical and welcoming place where anyone affected by cancer can be pampered, accompanied and cared for.
